Saber (SABR) and Radixx to support the business development of Nok Air

Saber Company SABR recently announced that a Thailand-based premium airline, Nok Air, has entered into two long-term strategic agreements with the company to support the evolution of a new business strategy.

In accordance with the contract, Nok Air has entered into an agreement with Saber and the other with its subsidiary Radixx, in order to enhance revenue growth opportunities, expand its international presence and develop new partnerships with airlines.

Using Saber’s Global Distribution System (GDS) platform, the Bangkok-based airline intends to distribute its flights and services to travel agencies in Thailand through the global travel market of the technology company of trip. This, in turn, will help Nok Air to expand its domestic market and enter new international markets.

Radixx will provide Nok Air with its fully integrated passenger service system (“PSS”), Radixx Res, for reservations, inventory, pricing, e-commerce, agency distribution, departure control, flight control. load, loyalty and other related technical capabilities.

The two agreements will not only expand Nok Air’s global operations, but also accelerate the recovery of the tourism industry from the pandemic. It will also deliver new and improved personalized experiences to the carrier’s customer base of high-end travelers and value-based customer segments.

The agreements are expected to help Saber grow its customer share and increase revenue in its Travel Solutions segment. The company’s transactions related to GDS, which functions as a marketplace connecting travel providers to buyers, are expected to increase.

Saber has customers in 160 countries with more than 425,000 partner agencies around the world. It is one of the largest marketplaces in the world, handling around $ 260 billion in global travel spending each year.

With an increase in vaccinated travel and the lifting of restrictions worldwide, Saber is well positioned to capitalize on the improving market scenario of the travel industry. Revenues for the Company’s Travel Solutions segment totaled $ 390 million in the third quarter, compared to $ 237 million in the previous year quarter.

Saber recently won back-to-back contracts with the world’s major airlines, hoteliers and travel agencies. Recently, in December, it signed a partnership with Gran Colombia de Aviación (GCA Airlines) to fuel the carrier’s future revenue growth while reaching new market segments.

That same month, it entered into a long-term, multi-faceted strategic partnership with American Express Global Business Travel, focused on developing technologies that will enable the future of business travel distribution.

In November, it entered into a long-term partnership with the TUI Group based in Hanover, Germany, to distribute its own hotel brands globally, including TUI Blue, Robinson and TUI Magic Life. Previously, it entered into a distribution partnership with Calafia Airlines to enable the distribution of flights and services to travel agencies in the United States through its travel market, helping the airline to accelerate revenue growth and expand its reach in the market.

Earlier in November, he partnered with Japanese chain Hotel Keihan to create tourism opportunities in the country. In addition, it has entered into a distribution agreement with China’s second largest hotel group, Huazhu Group, to extend the global reach of its premium and luxury hotel brands and support the latter’s global growth strategy.

However, it’s worth mentioning that Saber recently refrained from issuing an outlook citing uncertainty about the impact of the pandemic on its finances. During the fourth quarter, the business generally suffers from the seasonality of the travel industry. Revenue from travel bookings declines massively in the quarter, particularly in December, as vacation-related bookings are made at the start of the year. Business trips fell during the month, resulting in a drop in overall turnover.

Zacks ‘consensus estimate for Advanced Micro Devices’ fourth quarter 2021 earnings has been revised up from 7 cents to 75 cents per share in the past 60 days. For 2021, earnings estimates have risen 0.38% to $ 2.65 per share in the past seven days.

Profits from Advanced Micro Devices have exceeded Zacks’ consensus estimate in each of the previous four quarters, with an average surprise of 14%. AMD shares rose 51.3% in the YTD period.

The consensus mark for Qualcomm’s first quarter of fiscal 2022 results was raised to $ 3.01 per share, from $ 3 in the past 30 days. For fiscal 2022, earnings estimates have been revised up 1.5% to $ 10.49 per share over the past 30 days.

Qualcomm’s earnings have beaten Zacks’ consensus estimate in each of the past four quarters, with the average surprise being 11.2%. QCOM shares have gained 17.5% since the start of the year.
