Radisson Collection arrives in Germany

Germany’s first Radisson Collection hotel is now open in Berlin following the renovation of an existing property containing the world’s largest freestanding cylindrical aquarium.

This newly revamped flagship program has begun welcoming guests to a stylish space in Berlin-Mitte.

A landmark opening for Radisson

Radisson Hotel Group kicked off 2022 with the launch of Germany’s first Radisson Collection branded hotel – Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin.

This premiere follows an extensive 12-month renovation involving the redesign of all rooms and a new look for its lobby, bar and dining areas. The property’s famed Aquadom, which is the world’s largest freestanding cylindrical aquarium with 1,600 tropical fish, has also been upgraded but remains the lobby’s centerpiece.

Berlin Brandenburg Airport is easily accessible from the hotel by train or taxi.

In total, the hotel houses 427 rooms and suites spread over six floors. Each room is decorated in wood, gray and plum tones, with decorative accessories and artwork. The bathrooms combine the same dark wood tones with white marble.

Several rooms have a private balcony overlooking the Spree and the city itself, including the 101 m² Nikolai Suite on the sixth floor, which includes a living room, a dining room with kitchenette and a bathroom with bath whirlpool.

The hotel’s Atrium Bar then provides a meeting place for guests under the AquaDom, with coffee and cakes served during the day as well as expertly crafted cocktails, some showcasing locally produced spirits and small dishes highlighting featuring ingredients from local suppliers.
