Ajay Bhatt praises academic performance and ranking of HMIs in the world

The Union Minister of State for Tourism and Defence, Shri Ajay Bhatt reviewed the activities and status of the Central Institutes of Hotel Management on July 6, 2022, in hybrid mode. Shri Gyan Bhushan, Economic Advisor, Ministry of Tourism, Directors of National Council of Hotel Management, Noida, and Chief Executive Officer of IHM, Pusa, representing the Director were physically present.

The meeting began with a welcoming address by Shri Gyan Bhushan, Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Tourism. Shri Bhushan also made a brief presentation on the academic programs run by the Institute. The two directors of the IHM had the opportunity to present the academic program managed by the institute. Position of faculties, position of admission, position of placement and activities undertaken in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Tourism.

Shri Ajay Bhatt praised and encouraged the academic performance and ranking of HMIs, nationally and globally. He also congratulated all the institutes and conveyed his best wishes for IHM’s valuable contribution to nation building. Shri Ajay Bhatt highlighted the other activities undertaken by IHMs under EBSB, AKAM and Yoga Day and also appreciated the active participation of each institute even during the pandemic situation.

With a strong hope, Shri Bhatt mentioned that the admission and financial soundness of the institutes will be improved in the coming future. Besides that, he also motivated all the managers to continue the good work with the same spirit.
