Aimbridge Hospitality to Open Two New Luxury Beachfront Hotels at Frenchman’s Reef

St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands – Aimbridge Hospitality announces the opening of two new resorts at Frenchman’s Reef in St. Thomas, as part of a massive $350 million reconstruction project on the property. The two stations, including The Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman’s Reef and The Seaborn at Frenchman’s Reef, autograph collectionare expected to open in fall 2022.

Aimbridge Hospitality, a leading global hospitality company, will manage both properties under the leadership of Managing Director Kurt Wiksten, under a franchise agreement with Marriott International brands.

Located just steps from beautiful Morningstar Beach and 15 minutes from Cyril E. King Airport, Frenchman’s Reef will serve as an exciting getaway destination in St. Thomas, offering two distinct yet interconnected resort experiences. Both resorts will feature state-of-the-art design by architects Kollin Altomare and The Johnson Studio, offer stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and feature a range of exclusive dining concepts, a wide range of water activities, island excursions and extensive conference facilities for groups and weddings.

Perched on an elevated peninsula, the Westin Beach Resort & Spa will offer 392 rooms, including 28 suites, most with stunning ocean views. Facilities will include six destination-inspired restaurants and lounges, three ocean-view pools located on an expansive deck with a pool bar and cabanas, Heavenly Spa by WestinR with 13 treatment rooms, a private dock to access a multitude of secluded islands, a private adventure beach with abundant programming for all ages, retail outlets and 72,000 square feet of meeting space and event.

Located along a beautiful ¼ mile beach, The Seaborn will offer a more secluded stay experience with 94 rooms, including two suites. The resort will feature four additional destination-inspired outdoor restaurants and lounges, an oceanfront infinity pool with a swim-up bar, a health club, and 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

The two iconic resorts will be connected by the famous Frenchman’s Reef beach, which will serve as an additional social and event space with year-round programming for all ages. Frenchman’s Reef will also offer guests at both resorts access to amenities including a private catamaran that can accommodate up to 75 people for daytime snorkeling trips and evening sunset sails.
