Accor signs an agreement for the opening of a Fairmont hotel in Djibouti
The French hotel group has announced plans to open its first luxury property, comprising 155 rooms and ten serviced apartments, in the rapidly growing African city in 2024.
This elegant seaside program looks set to attract the attention of the most discerning international travelers to Djibouti.

The future Fairmont Djibouti, Accor’s latest signature, is ideally located next to the Plateau Du Serpent beach. In this attractive location, guests will enjoy easy access to the port of Djibouti, as well as impressive views.

The property is created in partnership with Carnegie Hill Hospitality. Led by Haibado Ismail, this company aims to become a leader in the tourism sector through greenfield developments and strategic partnerships.

The serviced rooms and apartments of the urban complex will be joined by an all-day restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a specialty bar, a lobby lounge and a pool bar and grill, as well as a tea room. . Additional facilities will include a spa and fitness facilities, Fairmont Gold lounge, salon, water sports center on the beach and a kids’ club.
Meetings and events will be held in 1,389m² of space, including an outdoor courtyard that can accommodate up to 400 guests and a grand ballroom designed for both corporate events and festive occasions such as weddings. .
