A first look at Bath’s dazzling new 202-bed hotel

A glamorous new hotel has opened in Bath – and we think it looks stunning.

The new Hampton by Hilton on Avon Street celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday this week (February 16) with balloons, bubbly and snacks in the lobby.

June Player, Mayor of Bath, cut the ribbon herself and said she was “delighted” to be at the forefront of the official opening of a new business in the city centre.

She said: “It’s a joy and a pleasure for me to do this. I’m sure it will be a real, real success. It’s a very brave undertaking, but I’m sure you all will do very well. good.

“This is a Hampton by Hilton hotel and I like your word ‘Hamptonality’, I read that and really liked it. So without further ado, let me declare the hotel officially open.”

Inside, the living room is modern and colorful with plush sofas and beautiful light fixtures. Designers also tried to give it a personal touch, for Bath, by hanging pictures of the city’s most famous sights around the breakfast room.

The hotel’s location on Avon Street puts it within walking distance of Bath’s many parks, museums and historic sites, making it ideal for guests looking to experience all that the beautiful Georgian city has to offer.

Angela Humble, General Manager of the hotel, said, “We are delighted to welcome guests to the opening of this magnificent new hotel. Hampton by Hilton Bath City is poised to impress with its modern design, prime location and excellent amenities.

“We are very proud to open such a wonderful space in the heart of this historic city, ready to be discovered by visitors from all over the world.”
